When I try to connect I get an error saying "Socket is not connected".
This error usually indicates a problem with a firewall setup. If you have a firewall other than Windows Firewall installed, then you will need to manually create an exception for AndroidDesktopRemoteServer.exe located in the Android Desktop Remote folder under Program Files.
Also verify that your Android device and PC are connected to the same WiFi network and that your WiFi router does not have a built-in firewall that is blocking the connection.
Can I connect from 3G?
At this time Android Desktop Remote only supports connecting from a local WiFi network. Keep the desktop software restricted by a firewall to your local network in order to avoid opening up your PC to security risks.
Why can't I find the full version of the app?
To purchase the full version of the Desktop Remote app on the Android Market, you need to be in a country in which Google has allowed users to purchase apps. See http://market.android.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=138294
Some users have reported that the full version of the app is missing for a limited time, usually only a few days at most. This especially tends to happen right after an update to the Android device's operating system or firmware.
